I love design because it’s not just a career - it’s a way of seeing the world. Illustrating, ceramics, and crafting brought me here, but what’s maintained my drive is the impact design has on everyday life.

A good product works well, lasts long, and gives you a moment to experience satisfaction - the kind that makes you think “I have to tell everyone about this thing I just got.”

The items we use and buy give us an emotional experience. Whether that emotion is excitement or frustration is up to the person who designs it.

So when I bake the pies for Thanksgiving, go hiking, hang out with my nieces and nephews, or play board games after a dinner with friends - I’m always wondering what new idea could make the experience even better.
